“About 3 years ago, I tore the back of my rotator cuff. CT scan showed it likely wasn’t bad enough for surgery, so I took home the page of therapy exercises and proceeded to do them occasionally, babied my shoulder, and waited for my shoulder to heal. It didn’t improve–in fact, over time I lost a lot of range of motion and still felt pain quite often. I couldn’t raise it all the way, and I even had to think how fast to move my arm when reaching so it wouldn’t hurt. Even my grip was getting weak. After an intensive month and a half with Scott at Rx Rehab and some exercising, my shoulder is basically back to normal. I can lie down on that side, do pass throughs, hang from a bar and lift my knees. I hardly think about my shoulder anymore. I am so grateful!”
